Has anyone else noticed that the sign of the leading term in the output of symbolic calculations is often wrong?
A PDF of an example is attached to this post.
Try calculating the invlapace of s/[s(s+1)(s+3)]. On my computer Mathcad 14 returns an answer with the sign of the first term incorrect.
But the same calculation with s/[s(s^2+4s+3)] gives the correct answer.
The same problem (incorrect sign of first term) also seems to occur in other calculations that dont involve the laplace transform.
Is this going to be fixed in the 1st service pack? And when can we expect that service pack?
