Image Processing

hi all:
i have a question regarding rotating a bit map image through an arbitrary angle. i of course can read in the image array, but i want to be able to rotate the image array through a user defined angle. i know one can flip the image array either vertically or horizontally, but i want to rotate it through any angle. the bitmap image size is 768x1024. thanks for your assistance.
