blank page elimination

Hello friends,

It seems like a simple problem, but I hope somebody there could help me out in here:

I often run into a problem where I have a blank page at the very end of my document, I tried a few things to delete it, but haven't succeeded yet. I even used View>Regions to see if there was any item undeleted on that blank page, but didn't find anything. The thing is, I am required to put the page numbers as (# of page) of (# total pages) format. So, is there any way to eliminate those unnecessary blank pages?
