Inserting large equations from a text file

Is there a way to get an equation from a text file into an equation in Mathcad 2000? The equation is rather large (see below) and when I paste it in it comes in as a text object, not an "equation" that can be simplified. I have cut and pasted a small portion which does insert as an equation. I have looked through the equation esuring that parenthesis match up so that it is indeed a valid equation. Any ideas?
