Mathcad 14 on Windows XP in VMware

Hi

I'm a student at a school that has a site license for Mathcad 14. (You put in a server name and a port number, and it grabs a license.)

I'm absolutely certain that the license server stuff is correct, but Mathcad won't start, giving me an error: ""

I'm running Windows XP in VMware server. Windows has internet access, and the firewall is set to allow communication with the Mathcad server. Any ideas on why the server wouldn't be communicating with the Mathcad exe on my computer?

Has anyone else out there gotten Mathcad to run on a virtualized environment?
