Hi,
We just install the network version of MathCAD 12 and I have some interogation regarding the worksheet protection. Apparently, a worksheet can't be protected if it's save in a xmcd format. It work if the file is save in a mcd format, but then, we lose the default units we have set in the xml file and all other adventage of the xml format.
We usually create our worksheet to be use like a form by the end user (simply filling out the required data) and we don't want them to change anything Else. We save the worksheets in a template and protect it leaving only the regions where data is required unprotected.
Why can't a worksheet be protected in xmcd? We are open to suggestions if you have one.
