We have been using MathCad as the preferred calculating software on my project for over a year. The team are new to it, having worked exclusively on Excel previously but everyone have been won over by the auditable nature of the MC worksheet and that the formulae actually "do just what they say they are going to do"
The checking engineer however finds that it is still difficult to check as he has to keep referring back to the last definition of a variable to make sure the correct version is being used in the formulae. I can see his point; a variable often gets re-defined inadvertently. The checker does not have MathCad available on his desk and is making sure that our calculations are readable and logical to any other engineer, rather than a great mass of spaghetti-code cell references (Excel).
Is it possible to display the formula, followed by the same formula but with the values substituted, as per hand calculations? This really would be an excellent feature if it was available.
I have attached a typical file where this feature would be useful, if available.
Thanks all
