If I want to convert an output of the addition of two lengths from meters to feet for example, I simply type "ft" in the unit placeholder of the output. However, if I wish to do the same conversion but I want to use Insert->Unit (Ctrl+U) instead of typing the shortkey, I have problems.
In the insert unit menu, it will not allow me to select anything other than the units the output already displays. Im my attached picture, as soon as I select "foot (ft)" it immediately re-selects "meters (m)". Why can I convert units with the shortkey typing but not with the insert -> unit box?
